Coimbatore: On the occasion of National Doctors' Day, a grand celebration was held at the Coimbatore Government Hospital.

National Doctors Day is celebrated every year on July 1. National Doctors' Day is observed to mark the birth anniversary of P C Roy to honour his dedication to the field of medicine.

Accordingly, national doctors' day was celebrated at coimbatore government hospital yesterday.

In the hospital premises, the look of the doctors on the premises caught everyone's attention.

Following this, the trainee doctors presented a bouquet of flowers to the principal of the Government Medical College Hospital and congratulated him.

This was followed by a special celebration by cutting the cake under the leadership of the hospital's principal Nirmala. The doctors also congratulated each other.
